care

works on paper are vulnerable

i try and use high quality archival materials that will last if taken care of properly. but works on paper are potentially fragile and vulnerable to environmental hazards and mishandling. learn about the proper care of prints and enjoy your artwork for a good long time.

handle unframed prints with care, in a clean environment, and with clean hands or gloves.

have your art professionally dry mounted and matted with archival quality, acid-free materials and UV protective glazing. hang it away from direct sunlight and where it won’t be subject to humidity or pests.

for more information read “care of prints” from the Print Council.

unrolling posters

a poster will arrive rolled in a tube or box and needs to be removed, unrolled, and flattened with care so as not to damage or crease the paper. instructions for flattening a poster can be found here.
