14 x 11 inch pen plotter drawing: ink on paper.

this drawing is based on a flow field using perlin noise. i have experimenting with different substrates to register the distortions of the field. in this case there is a pulse wave with the width of the pulse and the amplitude being modulated by sine waves. the phases of alternate line's envelopes are shifted so that they fit neatly together. it's like weaving a blanket and then watching it blow in the wind.
